15th Aug, 12:30PM, Sleepy Koreans.

15th Aug, 12:30PM, on the subway to Seoul.
So, it was kida epic to find our way to the subway — the ticket for the subway was invalid for me on one of the gates — had to try another gate to get through (meanwhile mum and dad were through, and not able to come back — cur intenal panic attack!) BUT WE MADE IT.

A nice Korean man who spoke English noticed out general confusion and helped us to the train. Everyone is very polite here. It's all so civil compared to all the developing asian contries I've been to (such a welcome change — though I do enjoy the madess of developing countries :3). I'm on the subway, and everyone has a seat, and it's nicely quiet (apart from the general subway noises), and it's clean and ASDFGHJKL.

And people. I am excited about that for REASONS. >////<

And guys. Korean's sleep. That's what they do. On the subway and at least five people are or were asleep just on the other side of the aisle to us. So cuuuute!
*:.. o(▽≦)o ..:* (We've only been on the train for about half an hour~ that said, the subway went from the airport, so they might've come from a flight… but still. None of them have any luggage. I think they're just sleepy. :3)
The Train Station.
It was cool.
I figure you guys care about train stations.
Right?

15th Aug, 12:00PM, LOOK. SOMETHING'S HAPPENING.

15th Aug, 12:00PM, on the way to the Airport to catch the Subway.

Okay, guys, we're catching the subway to downtown Seoul. The weather is still bollocks, but I am SO psyched, because this subway system is SO messy, and we are going to get so lost. :3 <3

I just saw a statue that looks like a whale mating a ball. :) just thought I'd share that with you guys.

Also, our concierge was a sweetie. EVERYONE IS SO POLITE AND QUIET AND LOVELY. Us Aussies must look like oafs to them. Good ol' Du Kim (the concierge. He dealt with our noisiness~). Guys, what is the first name, and what is the family name?

Off to the subway now… WISH US LUCK. GOOD LAWD WE'RE GOING TO GET LOST IN THE SUBWAY. <3

15th Aug, 10:40, Because You Guys Care and You Know It. So shut up. :D

15th Aug, 10:40AM, the hotel.
There is a storm coming. It's raining, and I keep hearing rumbles of thunder. And it's super windy. OHAI THAT LIGHTNING FLASH. =_= Damnit. I'm so glad we're coming back to Korea after Europe. Otherwise I'd be very annoyed for it to be raining. -_-

And none of the Korean TV I want to watch has English subtitles. :(

15th Aug, 10:00, DEM TURTLES.

((Maybe I'm not doing it day by day. Blogger is being temperamental with the photos. :<))

15th Aug, 10:00AM, at the hotel.
So, the beds are like sleeping on concrete. I very nearly slept on the recliner chair, but the angle was uncomfortable about an hour or so of snoozing.

I have no internet here — well, not free internet, and mum and dad aren't overly enthused with giving me free reign of paid internet. Fair enough, if you ask me. I'll keep up to date with this little updates, and post it later. ^^

The western food they serve at the hotel is good — and the cakes are really, really nice and light and fluffy. I tried a Korean dish at dinner last night, though! It was kimchi. Pretty good, but very spicy (I'm not good with spicy~). There hasn't been a whole lot of Korean food on offer. ^^;

Anywho, today is our only full day in Seoul, so I intend on making the most of it — we should be getting out into the city and seeing the sights soon. :3

Loving Korea. Loving the fact that my taste in music is actually… normal here. <3

Gtg, turtles mating on TV.

P.S. it's a documentary. AND ALL THE OTHER MALE TURTLES ARE ATTACKING THE COUPLE! :< They are teying to drown the male! :(

Edit: Don't worry, guys, the couple escaped. :)

14th August, DEM KOREAN BOYS.

((Hello again, I'll catch you all up, day by day, okay?))

14th Aug, 8:30PM(Korean time), at the our hotel.
Hey guys~ okay. Korean boys. So many hot Korean boys. I nearly hyperventilate every time I see one. Especially ones that do their hair up specially.

My poor mother has to deal with my, “HOLD ME, WOMAN. I'VE GONE WEAK IN THE KNEES FROM THIS YOUNG MAN’S SEXY.” Poor lady… and there really are so many K-popstar-esque-ly sexy boys here. I don't even know if what I said makes any sense. They are gorgeous, is all you need to know, and the girls are too!

OH! And for the first time ever, I have my own room. Not sleeping in the same room as my parents. MY OWN ROOM. <3 But the beds are like boards… :<

Anywho, I have a bath running, so I shall see y'all on the flipside!

P.S. Below is the room that I had all to myself~ <3

Hello~

Dearies! Hello from Incheon International Airport! Sorry for my lack of updates during my brief stop over in Korea, but we had no internet at the hotel.

I had an amazing time in Seoul, and i do have a MASSIVE post to send, but as of right now, I am irritated (okay, if I talk too loudly I will explode in a ball of rage, I'll be honest. I would say I have bad angermanagement issues, but i don’t. I get extremely furious very often. I just manage it very, very well :).) at my dear computer for not syncing with my iPhone.

I'll post them later, when I can sit in liesure and use my computer to post it and make sure everything is nicely set out and readable. It's a bit of a pain to to do so on the app.

This sidhe is off the sleep,

Hello From Incheon!

Well! We made it! And somehow, the sleepy sidhe did not sleep a wink on the plane. HOW. e_e

Anyway, here are my updates from the plane. I use this blog like a long Twitter, guys.
--
14th Aug, 11:20AM(AU time), on the plane:
I am on a Korean Airline plane. And I cannot find one k-drama series to watch.

NO.

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, KOREAN AIRLINES. THIS SIDHE IS NOT IMPRESSED. I found some k-pop, though, which is good.

But I have found k-dramas on NOT Korean Airlines. One would expect them on a K Airlines plane. on the plus side I watched Avengers, finally, and need to have Loki in my bed. But that's another story. He, Tony and Cap'n. I love them. And I need to find a Captain America/Hetalia crossover with Sherlock Holmes. This needs to be made.

Unfortunately, I've not seen Thor OR the Captain America movie, so I cannot write it. :( (I've never had anything to do with the comics. Strictly Asian comics for me~ <3)

On the plus side, there is an adorable Korean boy on the plane. If he was sitting beside me, and I had any lady-balls to back up my claims of bravery, I'd be all over that. >___> No, seriously, I would be. •_•

Okay, well, wish me luck in my quest for Korean popstars. And pray to whatever science/gods you believe in, that my parents enjoy Seoul tomorrow rather than do a boring sight survey for a future job. -_- I doubt they'd let me explore Seoul on my own… :<

Well, this sidhe is off to sleep,

FOUND BIG BANG ON THE MUSIC LIST. Yes. Just… yes.

--
14th Aug, 4:15PM, on the the plane.
There is a baby in the row in front of me. We have little smiling sessions every now and then. It is adorable.

But seriously, this baby is SO good! Hasn't even so much as whimpered! <3 Happiest bub I've ever seen on a plane. <3

NOW IT'S DANCING. OH GOD THAT'S CUTE. AND LAUGHING. ASDFGHJKL.

… there has been nothing to really take photos of. Please accept this pic of a demon-dog-kangaroo ar Brisbane airport. (should be attached somewhere. Using the iPhone Blogger app. So I'm not sure. :3)

The Sun Might Not Rise…

So, we're off this morning! Haha, at 3:00AM, when I got up, I just sat on the shower step in front of the heater, going, “Imustwakeup. Imustwakeup. OHGODI'MGOINGTOKOREA. … *snores* Imustwakeup.” It was early. But I didn't have as much trouble getting ready as I thought I would.

Here is a quick retelling of my morning so far:

14th Aug, 4:18AM, on the way to Brisbane airport:
I still don't feel like I'm going away at ALL yet.
--
14th Aug, 5:30AM, on the way to Brisbane airport:
I… kinda feel like I'm going away? Maybe? The horrid realisation of forgetting things has made this feel more real. (Goodbye, undamaged iPhone cable! Goodbye other things that I really should not have forgotten, but I'll manage without!)

So many cars on the highway…Just what are all these people doing going to Brisbane at 5:30AM? I mean, I know they're going to work… but damn. That'd suck. Driving to the city at 5:30AM on a regular basis.

Also, I am struck with my love of Ghirahim. I shall fangirl over him on my other blog at some point in the near future.
--
14th Aug, 5:40AM, on the way to Brisbane airport:
“Hey, look! The sun might rise soon!” I mean, it might not.

But it probably will.
My sidhe magic isn’t that hardcore awesome.
--
14th Aug, 5:44AM, on the way to Brisbane airport:
Wait what. I'm in Brisbane. How. This is really happening.

Dropping off the car now.

Oh lawdy.
--
14th Aug, 6:55AM, at Brisbane International Airport:
HOW WHUT I AM HAPPY.

But there's an itch on the bottom of my foot. That's enough to dampen anyone's joy.

I could meet TOP in Seoul, and have an itchy foot/hand and be like, 'Bro, sorry, we have to do this another time.’

Other than that, WEWT. :3

Also, the sun rose. :')

The Sidhe Who Sleeps.

This sidhe cannot sleep!

So, I leave tomorrow.

And I need to be up and getting ready by 3:00AM. And it's 11:20PM

HAHAno. I'm getting excited for the trip, which is bad, because the more excited I get, the less I'll be sleeping tonight. -_-

Short post is short.

I'm off to attempt to sleep,
Chelle Nine.

Introductions, and a New Adventure

Hello dearies! Chelle Nine here, in case you were completely unaware - though I doubt you were. You're far too intelligent for that, aren't you, fair reader?

In anycase, I'm not going to assume you are a psychic, because that would be a bit of a stretch, don't you think? So to remedy your lack of knowledge on my being, I shall imbue my knowledge of myself unto you - but beware, I'm still working this stuff out as well. And I'll never have it properly worked out anyway, for we are alive, therefore always changing, therefore we will never even know ourselves! (Depressing, much? More like exhilarating - so much to discover!) So what I write may very well be a lie in ten minutes time.

But I digress, my dears.

What would your name be? Well, we've already covered that one, love! I'm Chelle Nine, Sidhe who Sleeps!
Okay, that seems legit. Now what is your country of origin? I come from a land down under! (The one where women glow and men plunder.)
Favourite colour, then? Burgundy red.
And what of your family? Mum, dad, two brothers, brother's fiance and puppy.
Coffee or tea? Tea, love. English breakfast with a bit of milk and no sugar. Ever. Surgar should not stain a teacup. Ever.
Any special skills? Nothing to boast of.
... Oh reaaally? HUH. Well, what do you LIKE to do? Well, I love to write, sing, act, listen to music, and dream! Oh, I have the most fantastic dreams!
Dreams, huh? Yep! Amazing dreams! Dreams where I fly, dreams were I pilot university buildings through the deepest, darkest parts of space, dreams were I die (for a good cause), and best of all, dreams were I am totally kick arse! Also dreams were I have amazing purple haired boyfriends... but he was a ghost. I don't dream very often, but when I do, they are just the greatest things ever. Even dreams were I die (I've only had one that I remember...) turn out to be the most amazing experiences ever! When I dream, it's like reading the perfect novel.
You're... pretty passionate about dreaming... Are you passionate about... anyone? You know... like that? PFFFT! Silly question-asker. Only fictional men for me. Any by fictional, I mean: animated, drawn, written or dreamt. (I am made of forever alone. In fact, forever alone is made of me!)
Okay, so you're not actually human. (No human teenage girl isn't head over heels for some boy.) Right. Seems... legit. That's not a question. But obviously I'm not a human. Sidhe. What part of that do you get? The pronounciation? Or the part where I'm from Australia and I'm a Gaelic faerie?
Riiiiiiight..... So, when were you diagnosed for being bat-excretion crazy? Self-diagnosed? The day I turned eleven. Medically? They'll never catch me alive!
All-time favourite musician? It's a tie between David Bowie and Emilie Autumn. I have diverse taste.
All-time favourite song? What If, by Emily Autumn. Beautiful lyrics, beautiful sound, I need to listen to it right now.
Alright, I'm out of questions. Anything else you want to say? Oh-one-one-eight-nine-nine-nine-eight-eight-eight-one-nine-nine-nine-one-one-nine-seven-two-five...three. The longest number I have memorised by ear. Fear my ability and nerdiness.
So, Chelle! Where are you going, anyway? (Not that I want to know, because frankly, I think you're a freak.) Well! I'm glad you asked, kind soul that you are! This is the good bit! Here, I'll un-bold myself and give you all the low down below. (That sounded funny...)

SO! The reason I've created this blog! I'm going to Korea and Europe. For six weeks. Yes. It's pretty awesome. I have been to neither, so I'm very much excited.

Here's the plan: Me, mum and dad leave for Seoul on the 14th of August (a few days from now), and we spend a couple of nights there. Then we fly to Heathrow and on to Copenhagen where we'll be working for one week.

After this week, we'll be road-tripping to Paris via a bunch of countries. I know Netherlands is one of them. Probably Germany. But I'm just going off of my memory here.  So yeah, that'll take a while, and we'll spend a couple of nights in Paris, and back to England we go, via ferry! We'll be in London for a day before we fly to Jeju Island, off South Korea!

We'll be on Jeju for three nights, four days, and we'll be climbing the volcano there while we're at it - but we'll generally just be exploring and finding new people and places. Knowing my parents, more walks. Me? I'll be on the look out for any Korean popstars that might cross my path to marry. I mean, what? Did I say that last bit? IT WAS YOUR IMAGINATION.

Of course, being a fan of Hetalia (the anime/manga series), going to all these countries does have serious implications on my  health, and it's very likely that I'll die of a fansidhe attack the moment we land in Heathrow. And if I'm not gone by then, then I'll probably be out by Denmark. I'll definitely be a goner by France <3.

I'll do my very best to keep you all posted (I tried to make a blog when I went to North America two years ago, but I gave up... but I was young then! Now I'm old! I shan't give up!) with pics and daily (if I have wifi) entries. I'll probably put pics up on facebook, too.

In anycase!
This sidhe is off to sleep!
I bid you adieu,
Chelle.
